PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE NEW MEMBERS
Hello All,
From everything I heard, our Tilden Park picnic was another great time. Thanks
to Skip Hendricks and Jim Lent for putting this together for us.
This year for August there are no official GGG events scheduled. Our Golden Gate
Park Cruise event has been postponed due to a large number of members indicating
they would be unable to attend due to vacations and weddings. To those of you
that are Reno bound for Hot August Nights, have yourself a safe trip and a
fantastic time. Taking a peek at September, we return to our meeting schedule on
Weds Sept 1st at Harry’s in Redwood City. This is an earlier than normal date to
keep us away from the Labor Day Holiday week. Lots to discuss,
please mark your calendars now.
This brings us up to date for now. I will outline the itinerary for our Sept
meeting in next month's newsletter. See you all in about a month. For now……………….

Hi Everyone,
Carole Sakamoto brought a yummy Jello salad for our Good Guys get together. She
has shared her recipe for us. Thanks Carole!
Here for you from Carole:
"I guess my Jello was a hit after all, in spite of no spoons! Marvin was creative, he used tortilla chips as a spoon to eat Jello."
Raspberry Fruited Jello with Cream Cheese Topping
2 large packages of raspberry
Jello
4 Cups boiling water
Add: 1 large can crushed pineapple with juice
1 can Oregon boysenberries, raspberries, cranberries or blackberries with
juice.
Topping:
1 - 8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream - can add more to make it creamier, but add more sugar
1/4 cup sugar
Set overnight in 9" x 13" baking dish.
Enjoy.
